Harri Arhio alias PistePiste is a young man being searching his way, music following him constantly.
As he did not believe it to be a realistic goal, he studied laboratory work for a while until he realized, it was not his “thing”, then he was working at a recreation centre, where he thought of becoming a youth worker and went to study at health and social care school. Later through employment office he went to radio host courses, from where he went to Helsinki Vocational College, that was really important time for him, as he spent most of the time at school’s recording studio. He has never pushed himself anywhere, being a realist, who doesn’t dare to dream. Regretting such attitude, he is now more optimistic and dreaming to be an artist. He is writing his songs about his life, putting two dots after each phrase as a symbol of continuation – this gave an idea for artist name PistePiste (piste in Finnish means a dot). In 2010 he uploaded his demos online, where DJ Mobster discovered him and introduced to Warner Music Finland’s production manager, who liked his creation and signed a contract. PistePiste first single was released in April 2012 and first album in August 2013. He is a rising star in Finnish R&B, who’s songs have been followed now for millions of times online in Youtube and Spotify.
