Some words about the artist Marga Muzika (Motley Music): one of the most colorful and active folk groups in Lithuania, presenting world music with original instrumentation from 2009 performs ethnic songs in various languages and different musical styles.
The group also has a wide performance program of Lithuanian folk songs only. The members of Marga Muzika organize various workshops on Lithuanian folk songs and dances. Some members teach ancient multipart Lithuanian songs, so called Sutartines, highly unique examples of folk music. Marga Muzika represents Lithuanian rites, rituals and traditions.
They sing mainly in Lithuanian, but they also have Latvian, Belarusian, Polish, Tuvan and Armenian, Slavic and Bakan folk songs.
From the beginning they have been invited to many folk, neo-folk, rock music festivals and concerts in the homeland and abroad.
