This modern and stylish restaurant is is hidden in a large, old tar-painted wooden chalet that dates back to 1926 with spacious terrace and lovely views over the city and Oslo fjord at around 370m above the sea level. The building was constructed by the Ringnes brewing dynasty, who built the restaurant outside the city limits in order to have right to serve the beverage to the guests. City dwellers used to make the long hike up to Grefsenkollen hill to have a good time. In winter time, the guests used to sledge all the way back into town, which must have been insanely fun.
SPECIAL DISH:
Restaurant serves French-inspired gourmet feast of modern Scandinavian cuisine. There are two meny choices every day- Todays Small and Todays Large menu. It is composed every day of the best produce available that day.
