IT’S CHOCOLATE TIME
Discover secrets of chocolate at Fazer Visitor Center, due to open on the 1st of October in Vantaa (only 17 km from Helsinki). Groups are welcome to get to know world famous chocolate factory Fazer in a completely new, fun and inspiring way – with all of your five senses! The visitor center will provide exciting guided tours, cooking workshops as well as meeting facilities including ‘Karl Fazer’ hall, which can seat up to 200 guests and ‘Idea Bakery’ for a smaller groups. What can be better than a conference in a brand new Karl Fazer Hall followed by mouth-watering workshop and exquisite asting?
MEETING ABOVE HELSINKI
Clarion Hotel Helsinki will open its doors on 17 October and will be Nordic Choice Hotels first hotel in Finland. With its two 16-story towers, the hotel will be Clarion’s flagship in Finland and furthermore Helsinki’s largest conference hotel. Clarion Hotel Helsinki will be part of the new Jätkäsaari (Busholmen) urban investment area in the west harbour in the city centre. The two window-clad towers will be connected by a transparent glass footbridge and elevators with a view. The highest of the towers will reach a full 78 metres above sea level.
16 floor-high hotel will definitely stand out of the crowd by offering 425 stylish rooms with breathtaking views over Helsinki city and modern convention center for 1,000 people. Makasiini event venue will offer 13 meeting and event premises with premium conference technology, Skybar will have meeting rooms for up to 80 people.
CHILL OUT IN SAUNA
Being invited to sauna in Finland is an honour, so take this chance and feel the heat in a brand new unique Löyly sauna complex! Being less than two kilometers away from Helsinki centre, you can experience all sorts of Finnish sauna during a single visit. There are three different saunas that are all heated with wood: a continuously heated sauna, a once heated sauna (that is heated in the morning before the sauna is open and stays warm all evening) and a traditional smoke sauna – a true rarity in an urban sauna.
